to all the organizations and participants who made SCCORR's first ever
San Juan Volunteer Fair for Public Lands
a great success!
The Volunteer Fair, held on May 17, 2025 at the Durango Nordic Center(Purgatory Community Center) offered the public opportunities to connect with area organizations that rely on volunteers to help steward our public lands. Volunteering is a great way to steward our lands and support the conservation and outdoor recreation organizations in our region.
Held in conjunction with Colorado Public Lands Day, the Fair:

Highlighted the importance of public lands

Engaged the public in stewardship actions and ethos

Fostered common ground among user groups and organizations

Met the call for education and outreach
